IMPORTANT NOTICE
On 28 December 2020, Indonesia announced a temporary ban on the entry of all foreign nationals into Indonesia. The Indonesian government has notified MFA that this ban would also apply to foreign nationals travelling to Indonesia under all of Indonesia’s Travel Corridor Arrangements (TCA) with other countries. Hence, Singapore residents would not be able to travel from Singapore to Indonesia under the Singapore-Indonesia Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) / TCA.
Given the reciprocal nature of this travel arrangement, travellers will also not be able to apply to travel from Indonesia to Singapore under the Singapore-Indonesia RGL / TCA . Travellers who have already received approval to enter Singapore under the Singapore-Indonesia RGL / TCA can continue to do so.
1. Eligibility
Business or official travellers that are Indonesian citizens and are seeking to make an essential trip to Singapore may do so via RGL. Either a Company or Government Agency in Singapore can sponsor/apply for a SafeTravel Pass-RGL on behalf of the said traveller, who must:
- Hold a valid passport;
- Be seeking to make a single-entry, short-term essential travel; and
- Be travelling for business or official purposes between Singapore and country/place of departure.
2. Submit Approvals for Entry into Singapore

Submit RGL application | New applications under the Singapore-Indonesia RGL are currently suspended. Travellers who already have existing RGL approvals may continue to utilise the RGL to enter Singapore. |

Pre-departure COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Test | Approved RGL travellers must take a COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours before departure to Singapore at any of the healthcare institutions in Indonesia listed here. To travel to Singapore, travellers should obtain a negative COVID-19 test result, in English, stating the time and date which the test was administered. |

4. Arrival in Singapore

Immigration clearance | An approved RGL traveller must declare on arrival that he/she is an approved SafeTravel Pass-RGL holder and be able to produce the following:
Upon confirmation of his/her traveller scheme, the traveller will take a COVID-19 PCR test at the immigration checkpoint. |
Transport from Checkpoint to Accommodation | Per the prevailing health measures, the local host* must arrange for transport for the traveller to commute directly from the immigration checkpoint to the declared self-sourced accommodation. Use of public transport is not allowed. |

*Host refers to the company or government agency receiving the traveller in the destination country/region. Company-sponsors can serve concurrently as the host and sponsor.
5. Post-Arrival

Pre-departure COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Test | The information provided in this section is for reference only. Prior to making travel arrangements, travelers are advised to consult the latest entry and other requirements issued by the Indonesian authorities.
RGL travellers who are returning to Indonesia from Singapore are required to undergo a PCR test within 72 hours before departure from Singapore. Please refer here for the list of clinics that can perform pre-departure COVID-19 PCR tests and details on the procedure to book an appointment. Testing for RGL travel can only be carried out at the clinics in the attached list . RGL returnees who have a valid certificate of negative PCR test result in Singapore will not be required to undergo a PCR test upon arrival in Indonesia. The returnees are still required to self-quarantine for 14 days before they can return to activities. RGL returnees who do not have a valid certificate of negative PCR test result in Singapore upon arrival in Indonesia will be quarantined and tested for COVID-19 (via a PCR test) at designated quarantine facilities in Indonesia. |
