The sale of new Vaccinated Travel Lane (Land) Designated Bus tickets is suspended, for travel into Singapore or Malaysia from 22 December 2021, 2359 hours to 20 January 2022, 2359 hours.
Travellers who have already booked a Vaccinated Travel Lane (Land) bus tickets are unaffected and will be allowed to enter Singapore under the VTL (Land). Applications for Vaccinated Travel Passes (VTP) will remain open during this period, and non-Singapore Citizens and non-Permanent Residents are require d to apply for a VTP between 3 and 60 calendar days before their date of departure.
The Vaccinated Travel Lane (Land) [VTL (Land)] allows quarantine-free travel to Singapore via the Causeway. Travellers intending to utilise the Vaccinated Travel Lane (Air) to travel to Singapore via air should apply for a VTP (Air) Pass. Approvals are not interchangeable.

Travellers must fulfil the following eligibility criteria found in this section before applying to travel under VTL (Land). Travellers who do not satisfy any of these criteria and conditions, should explore other Safe Travel Lanes at the Travelling to Singapore page.
From 4 Dec 2021, 2359 hours, the following groups of travellers are disallowed from applying for entry under the VTL (Land) or VTL (Air). They may instead enter Singapore via alternative travel arrangements (see table below). Those who have obtained a VTL approval before 4 Dec 2021, 2359hrs can still enter Singapore.
Alternative Travel Arrangement
Non-Malaysian male Work Permit or S Pass workers in the Construction, Marine shipyard or Process (CMP) sector
Malaysian male Work Permit or S Pass CMP workers can enter Singapore via the VTL (Land), but cannot be isolated in a dormitory if they test positive for their on-arrival COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test and are awaiting their confirmatory Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test results.
Travellers must belong to any of the following categories:
Singapore Permanent Resident
Holder of a Singapore-issued Long-Term Pass (i.e. Work Pass Holders*, Student’s Pass Holders, or Long-Term Visit Pass Holders)
*Holders of an In-Principle Approval (IPA) for a Singapore-issued Long-Term Pass (i.e. Work Permit, Employment Pass, Student Pass, or Long-Term Visit Pass) who are Malaysia citizens should apply as "Short-Term Visitors" for their Vaccinated Travel Pass. Those who are not Malaysia Citizens are not allowed to enter Singapore under the VTL (Land).
Travellers who are above the age of 12 in this calendar year must receive the required WHO EUL vaccine doses, below, at least two weeks before arrival in Singapore:
Pfizer/BioNTech (BNT162b2 / Comirnaty / Tozinameran), at least 2 doses 17 days apart
Moderna (mRNA-1273), at least 2 doses 24 days apart
AstraZeneca (AZD1222 Vaxzevria), at least 2 doses 24 days apart
Covishield, at least 2 doses 24 days apart
Sinopharm, at least 2 doses 17 days apart
Sinovac, at least 2 doses 13 days apart
Covaxin, at least 2 doses 24 days apart
Mix of any vaccines above, at least 2 doses 17 days apart
Janssen/J&J (Ad26.COV2.S), 1 dose
Children who are 12 and below in this calendar year and are unvaccinated can still travel to Singapore via VTL (Land) if accompanied by a fully vaccinated VTL traveller. However, the child must be a Singapore Citizen, Singapore Permanent Resident, holder of a Singapore-issued Long-Term Pass or Malaysia Citizen.

Travellers who have already secured a VTL (Land) bus ticket are unaffected and will be allowed to enter Singapore via VTL (Land).
2. Application for Vaccinated Travel Pass (Land)
SC/PRs and unvaccinated children aged 12 and below in this calendar year do not need to apply for entry via VTL (Land).
However, all travellers, including SC/PRs must comply with the requirements stated in thetraveller checklist, which summarises the VTL (Land) Conditions. Failing which, the prevailing health control measures will apply, which may include serving a Stay-Home Notice.
Applicants do not need to rush to apply as there is no quota for VTPs, and are advised to secure their bus tickets first (see Criterion 4). VTPs will be issued immediately if your application is in order and vaccination records can be verified by the application system.
VTP (Land) applications are open for travellers intending to enter Singapore 3-60 days after today. Travellers entering Singapore after this date range should come back on a later date to apply.
A VTP is valid for 13 calendar days from the traveller’s chosen date of entry.
Accompanying children aged 12 and below and are unvaccinated do not need to apply.
VTP (Land) and VTP (Air) are not interchangeable, a separate application for VTP (Air) is required if travelling by air.
3. COVID-19 Tests and Documents Required
Travellers who are eligible for VTL (Land) and have already obtained their bus tickets and Vaccinated Travel Pass (Land) if needed should refer to this traveller checklist for the full list of requirements to complete VTL (Land) travel. This includes:
Negative pre-departure COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test or Antigen Rapid Test (ART) taken within 2 days before departure for Singapore;
Filling up the SG Arrival Card (replaces the physical "White Card"). Travellers must complete this up to 72 hours before arrival in Singapore to avoid delays at the checkpoint; and
On-arrival COVID-19 test upon arriving in Singapore.
